In the beating heart of London’s iconic Battersea Power Station, Velouria is a sumptuous celebration of the bad women of myth and history who refused to play nice. Imagine a world where Margaret Thatcher breakdances with Marie Antoinette, Mary I gets her 5 minutes of pop video fame and Nell Gwyn crowns winner of the Baddest Bitch in the audience at every show. This dark new show re-examines stories through the fierce, glamorous, and feminist lens of modern burlesque
