Producer and head judge Tempest Rose - Director of HOB
Burlesque Showgirl Tempest Rose is one of the most exciting and multi-skilled burlesque artists in the world, specialising in entertaining, theatrical style Burlesque which harks back to the golden age of stars like Gypsy Rose Lee and Mae West.
Las Vegas to Rome, BBC to Channel 4, Tempest Rose has been honoured to grace the stages of some of Burlesque’s most celebrated events including the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas. Other selected credits include three West End runs; appearances on Channel 4, MTV, BBC 3, ITV 2, The BBC Radio 2 Arts Show and performing at corporate and private events including for The Royal Navy at HMS Raleigh.
Tempest is the artistic director for HOB and has produced The Burlesque Masquerade Ball at The Duke of Yorks Theatre in London’s West End and UK theatre tour with HOB Shipwrecked, alongside productions at some of the UK's top cabaret venues such as Cafe de Paris, Underbelly Festival, Christmas in Leicester Square, Madame Jojo's, the Hippodrome, Sway bar, Halifax Piece Hall, Harrogate Festivals and events at The Shard, The Courtauld Gallery, Park Hotel Kolkata India and Time Out Live, to name but a few.
Our HOst: Jillian George-Lewis aka Delores Deluxe
One of the longest established performers, producers and promoters on the London burlesque and cabaret scene. Jillian came from a 10 year acting career and moved into the word of cabaret in 2005. She was founder and leader of London’s longest running troupe The Kitten Club and led the troupe to many successes including two West End shows, long residencies at Volupte and Madame JoJo's and also regular musings on the airwaves of BBC London.
Jillian’s well respected career has put her in the some key roles of the London scene including Entertainment Manager and booker for Volupte from 2010 – 2014, as well as sitting as one of the judges for the London Cabaret Awards 2013. Performance wise, as Delores Deluxe, she has been working extensively on the cabaret and variety scene as a compere and singer as well as a soloist with her signature comedy magic tricks. Jillian is currently resident compere and booker for burlesque supperclub Privee of Knightsbridge and also the Creative Programmer of Entertainment for the iconic Hippodrome Casino. Otherwise, she can generally be found enjoying gin, coveting shoes and looking at cat videos online.
